LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30th December 1984, is a professional American basketball star. King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players. He's often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular basketball player. James was awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs and the two Olympic medals. James is the holder of the most amount of points scored during the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh the most assists in his career. This is a record for the NBA that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from 2011 through 2018. James was selected to his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has accumulated 10,000 or more points in rebounds, assists, and points in his career in 2022. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. Media across the country portrayed him as a potential NBA star. In preparation for his professional career it was his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall in the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the league's premier players winning an NBA MVP title in 2010 and 2009. James went free agency in 2010 after failing to earn championships in Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
