Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born on April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American performer, songwriter and television personality who came to prominence as a pop star having won the telecast talent contest American Idol at the age of 22 in. Clarkson lived within Burleson, Texas, a suburb located in Fort Worth, where her singing talent was initially recognized by her choir instructor at school when she was a seventh-grade student. Following graduation, Clarkson moved in Los Angeles, where she failed to make it into the show business. Following her return to Texas, she became a contestant on the first season of the FOX Broadcasting Co's American Idol, a singing competition where viewers could vote for their favourite performer. Clarkson's charismatic voice, personality and humor were instantly loved by viewers. Clarkson was awarded $1 million and an agreement recording with RCA in the prize.
