Sharp was born in Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied the clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's love for theater during her high school years was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she received the scholarship. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp following her graduation. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp also appeared in Abyssinia and Aida. Some of her other roles included: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp is also working on other projects that she is working on, in addition to the work for the stage and screen. An entire recording is being planned. Sharp also is still singing. Sharp, who is often either in front of or behind the camera as well as in the studio, is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, hike and take lengthy road trips. Sharp resides with her spouse and two children living in Los Angeles.
