Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1960) is a famous American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She appears weekly regularly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs tonight. The Imus morning show. The Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree of Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at The US Attorney. She was a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She taught law as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
