Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. She is English, and her father was Nigerian. She was raised in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was a part of various performances on stage during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is her role in the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success her role was Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. Also, the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She was also as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was later removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the show's first two seasons as an regular. However, in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would be departing the show following her guest appearance in the first episode of the series' third season. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until 2016. From June to July 2012, she got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers, who were each of them extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley had never been able to walk. She was a dancer. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old, she was a part of Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley performed in competitive ballet, jazz and tap in the high divisions. Ashley was awarded the best individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
