National media touted James as a future NBA star. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. As the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established his name rapidly as one of the best athletes in the league, winning the NBA MVP awards for the years 2009 and 2010. James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after failing to achieve the title with Cleveland. The announcement was made in The Decision.
